Format: This is a one day event consisting of amateurs and professionals competing at scratch over 36-holes. The low qualifiers will proceed to the 2012 US Open Championship at the Olympic Club, San Francisco, CA June 14-17, 2012.

Eligibility: Professionals and amateur golfers with a men's USGA handicap index not exceeding 1.4 strokes.

Starting Times: Tee-times will be e-mailed to contestants and are posted on the Chicago District Golf Association website.

Qualifyings at the Village Links: This is the fifth time that a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying has been held at the Village Links. The last time a U.S. Open Sectional was held at the Village Links in 2005 Jerry Smith was the medalist with a 6-under par 138. The Village Links has hosted 40 USGA and PGA Tour Qualifyings.
